Captions that stay on-device

Make every word visible.

Transcribe video locally, edit every timed cue, choose a caption preset and export a captioned copy. Pick a faster or stronger model based on your device.

A complete caption loop

Transcribe, correct, style and export.

Three local models

Choose Fast, Balanced or High Accuracy. Stronger models download more data and take longer.

Multilingual speech

Detect or select the spoken language, then transcribe it or translate speech to English.

Editable timed cues

Correct every word and adjust start and end times before committing to the export.

Caption presets

Use bold, clean, boxed and cinematic styles with color, size and position controls.

SRT and VTT

Export reusable subtitle files or burn the final captions into a local WebM video.

Private by default

The model and media run in your browser. Nothing is sent to RapidXAI.

Accuracy is editable, not magical

No speech model is perfect. Review names, numbers and specialist terms before export. Your work lives in this tab, so do not refresh until you have downloaded it.

A practical caption workflow

Get accurate timing without sending the video away.

Prepare the audio

Clear speech with limited background music gives the model the best chance of recognizing names, numbers and sentence boundaries. If possible, start with the original video instead of a heavily compressed repost.

Choose a model

Use Fast for drafts and lower-memory devices. Balanced suits most everyday videos. High Accuracy downloads more model data and is useful when the extra wait is justified by difficult speech.

Review every cue

Play the video around each caption boundary. Correct spelling, punctuation and specialist terms, then adjust cue timing so text appears after the speaker begins and leaves without covering the next line.

Keep captions readable

Use strong contrast, a restrained type size and short lines. Test the result on a phone-sized preview and keep captions away from interface controls used by social video platforms.

Keep this browser tab open

The video, model and unfinished caption project live in this browser session. Do not refresh or close the tab until you have exported the SRT, VTT or captioned video. Download a subtitle file before experimenting with later styling changes so you retain an editable copy.
